Morton College Offers Enrollment Incentives for Spring 2022!

Current and prospective students planning to take courses this Spring semester at Morton College will benefit from enrollment incentives offered by the school. The Spring 2022 semester begins on Tuesday, January 18, and the last day to register is Monday, January 17. Although the college is closed that Monday, students can enroll online. Students can also register during the first week of the semester if they have faculty approval once courses have already begun.

“Morton College is offering terrific enrollment incentives for Spring semester,” said Courtney O’Brien, Director of Admissions and Records/Registrar for Morton College. “We’re offering zero late registration fees, Free Laptops for students, Panther Balance Forgiveness Grants to assist in paying previous balances, a Start-Up Fund of $500 Grant for recent high school graduates from 2019-2021, and access to Emergency Grants.”

For information about incentives and how to enroll, students can visit www.morton.edu, call Advising at 708-656-8000 ext. 2250, or email advising@morton.edu. “Student Success Coaches are currently helping students with registration by appointment or walk-in, and services are offered virtually, in-person, and by phone,” added O’Brien. “From January 3 - 6, Student Services is open from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., and on January 7 is open 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.”

Morton College will be open Saturday, January 15 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., and will be offering late registration the week of January 17 - 21 from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

“It’s important for students to register for classes before they fill up,” said O’Brien. “New Student Orientation (NSO) is an essential two-part process for new students as they begin their journey at Morton College. It involves an online orientation that takes roughly an hour and includes quizzes after each module. Welcome Week also educates students about campus, community resources, and student involvement opportunities.”
