Morton College Hosts Virtual Open House April 12-14th!

Prospective students who are interested in learning about all the terrific opportunities Morton College has to offer are invited to attend MC’s Virtual Open House. This informative event will run from April 12-14, 2021, with sessions offered via Zoom from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. each day.

“Students who attend our Virtual Open House will learn about all the majors and programs offered by Morton College,” said Diego Aleman, Enrollment Specialist. “We’re also offering in-person Campus Tours on April 14th and 15th so students can visit our campus and see our capital improvements, including the Nursing department, gymnasium, fitness center, theater, and Food Pantry. They can also meet faculty, staff, and both current and future students, and learn about student organizations, athletics, and career paths.”

The overall goal is for students to learn that the college experience can be seamless by obtaining the necessary resources and information available to them. “Students will have an opportunity to get an in-depth review of the academic programs so they can establish their career path as early as possible,” added Aleman. “If a student can’t attend any of the online sessions or visit in person, they can reference our Open House website to access the recordings. We’ll share them on Facebook as well.”

Students should view the full Open House Week schedule and make sure to RSVP for the session(s) or tour(s) of interest at https://www.morton.edu/open-house/. “After they RSVP for the sessions that interest them, students should expect a confirmation email with relevant details,” said Aleman. “They should log in 10 minutes early to make sure the link and connection are working well. If there are any concerns, they can email me at diego.aleman@morton.edu. I suggest students take advantage of all the sessions offered throughout the week.”
