Homeless woman charged with battery after punching elderly woman: sheriff

A DuPage County woman faces aggravated battery charges following a Monday morning incident near Lisle.

Felicia R. Moss, 39, who is known to be homeless, was charged with aggravated battery in a public place and aggravated battery to a person older than 60-years old, according to a DuPage County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Bail was set bail at $15,000 during a Wednesday hearing.

At about 10:15 a.m. Monday, Moss and the 78-year-old female victim passed each other in a public way in unincorporated DuPage County near Lisle, in an area known as the Four Lakes Village. At that time, Moss allegedly punched the 78-year-old woman in the face, the release stated.

Moss is scheduled for arraignment on Feb. 10.
