High school sports roundup for Monday, Sept. 13: Willowbrook boys golfers fifth at West Chicago Invite

The Warriors fired a team total of 351, placing fifth in the 13-team West Chicago Wildcat Invite at St. Andrews Golf Club. Brett Vandergrift shot his team’s low score of 82, Vince Guajardo an 87 Dom Faillo and 90 and Nick Chivilo a 92.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Naperville North d. Wheaton North 25-23, 22-25, 25-18

Mia Benson had nine kills and three digs, Paige Syswerda 16 assists and eight digs, Ella Brend eight digs, and Audrey Brcka six kills and six digs for the Falcons (8-7).

Rockford Lutheran d. Timothy Christian 25-12, 25-21

Abby VanderWal had seven kills and two blocks, Sierra Rieger 10 assists and Abi Alonzo 14 digs for the Trojans (6-4).
