SOFTBALL

Lyons 5, Willowbrook 2

Ava Paganis and Tess Meyer both homered, and Paganis scored three runs for the Lions, and winning pitcher Ava Kostecki struck out eight.

Wheaton North 11, Waubonsie Valley 0

Lauren Vaughn went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, two doubles, three runs batted in and three runs scored for the Falcons, and freshman Erin Metz pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts.

Ellie Hubbard was 2-for-2 with a triple, two RBIs and a run scored.

Lincoln-Way West 6, Lemont 1

Frankie Rita drove in Lemont’s lone run.

Hinsdale South 8-13, Addison Trail 2-4

Harvest Christian 9, Wheaton Academy 8

Josh Cosme hit a three-run homer and Alex Valdez had a solo shot for the Warriors.

GIRLS SOCCER

Benet 1, Wheaton Academy 0

Mariana Pinto scored an unassisted goal with 7:25 left in the second half, and Shannon Clark had six saves in goal for Benet (3-0). Sara Swoboda had four saves for Wheaton Academy (3-2).

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Campbell Marshall had 11 assists, four digs and two aces, Greta Hoogstra eight kills and three blocks and Alli Myers six digs for Timothy Christian (9-4, 3-3).

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Lake Park d. Glenbard East 28-30, 25-15, 25-21

Trevor Real had 10 kills and eight digs, Bartek Kwidzinski five kills and Connor Soto 20 assists and six digs for Glenbard East (1-1).
