Minooka Police announces 63 distracted driving citations during campaign

The Minooka Police Department announced the results from its Labor Day ‘Click It or Ticket’ enforcement campaign.

Officers gave out 63 distracted driving citations, seven suspended registration citations, five no insurance citations, three driving with a suspended license citations, two speeding tickets, and one ticket for disobeying a stop sign.

According to a news release, the effort was funded with federal highway safety funds and administered by IDOT.
