First annual Wing Wars eating contest raises money for Grundy County charities

The first annual Wing Wars eating contest is coming to Minooka at 2 p.m. Thursday at TownePlace Suites, 630 Bob Blair Road, Minooka.

Wings, Etc. is providing the wings as competitors representing Hearts With Compassion, Breaking Away, We Care of Grundy County, CASA of River Valley, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Just Animals Shelter, Heroes & Helpers, and Pink Heals battle to eat the most and win $500 for their charity.

Snacks will be provided for spectators as well.
