The Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office has charged Marcos Salas, 34, of the 400 block of North Union Street, Aurora, with one count of felony drug induced homicide in the death of a 24 year-old Boulder Hill resident last summer.

In a statement, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said detectives began an investigation that led to Salas’ arrest July 27 when deputies responded to a home in the 20th block of Greenfield Road, Boulder Hill, on a report of a woman who was not responseive. The woman was later pronounced deceased.

The sheriff’s office said Salas is presently being held at the Kane County Corrections Center in St. Charles on unrelated charges.
