The Kendall County Republican will host their annual Fall Freedom eventThursday, Sept. 30, at the Kendall County Fairgrounds on Route 71 in Yorkville. Social hour will begin at 4 p.m. with a moment of prayer led by Parkview Christian’s Jed Davis to kick off the speaker’s engagements at 6:45 p.m.
Admission is $20 a person, $35 a couple, $10 for children ages 6 to 17 and children 5 and younger enter for free. Admittance includes one sandwich, chips and water per person. A kids’ coloring contest honoring first responders will take place, as well as a hayrack ride. Raffle tickets will be available for sale.
Topics of speech will include Kendall County’s local support of infrastructure, first responders, election integrity and constitutional retention. Speakers include Davis, as well as Kendall County Board member Brian DeBolt and board Chairman Scott Gryder.
Guest (political) candidates include Bobby Piton, Constitutional Republican Candidate for U.S. Senate from Illinois, and Jesse (Sully) Sullivan who is a fifth generation Illinoisan and Republican candidate for governor. Sully is the CEO and founder of Alter Global, an organization that helps lift people out of poverty by investing in job creators around the world. Sully served as an Army civilian in Afghanistan, and adviser for U.S. disaster relief efforts in Haiti.
The group is raffling off cash prizes totaling $10,000, including a $5,000 first-place prize. Raffle ticket winners will be announced immediately after the speakers’ session.
