Kendall County sheriff’s deputies arrest man on battery charge

Kendall County sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph A. Wessley, 29, of the 8000 block of Van Emmon Road, Oswego Township, at 8:10 p.m. April 7 at his residence on a charge of battery.

In a statement, the sheriff’s office said they were summoned to the suspect’s residence on a report of a disturbance, and Wessley was arrested after an investigation by deputies.

Wessley was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville, where he was later released after posting bond.
