The Interstate 8 released its all-conference teams on Thursday for six spring sports.

Wheaton-Warrenville South had five different goal scorers, which included Ashlyn Adams breaking the career scoring record, to lead it to a 6-0 victory over St. Charles North for its first sectional title since 2003.

For more than 86 minutes, Kaneland senior goalie Natalie Myers made save after save to keep it a one-score game. But Boylan connected twice in the final 2:30 for the 3-0 win in the Class 2A Belvidere Sectional semifinals.

The Kaneland girls soccer team met Boylan Wednesday night in the Class 2A sectional semifinal game at Belvidere High School.

Kaitlyn Nudera's goal in the 50th minute proved to be the difference maker as St. Charles North secured the win in the crosstown rivalry with a 1-0 victory over St. Charles East in Tuesday's sectional semifinal.

Once again, Kaneland’s combination of an explosive offense and an airtight defense delivered a positive result for the Knights on Saturday morning - a 6-0 Class 2A Kaneland Regional championship win over Woodstock. 

Carmie Winkelhake immediately answered a goal by Izzie Segreti as Burlington Central held off Sycamore 3-1 to claim a regional title on Saturday.
