The boys basketball season tips off this week. Here are five players to watch throughout the Kane County Chronicle coverage area this season:
Rahul Gor, St. Charles East, sr., forward: A 6-foot-6 forward with length who is agile, Gor shot 45% from the three-point arc last season and will be a top player for the Saints.

Ethan Marlowe, St. Charles North, sr., forward
Last season, Marlowe averaged 14 points, 7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and shot 41% from beyond the arc. He needs to build upon it and be the dominating force he can be.

Sebastian Miller, St. Francis, sr., guard
Miller has immense confidence in his shooting ability and he’ll be leaning on it again. Miller averaged 16 points and shot 48% from the field for the Spartans last season.

Gavin Savis, Burlington Central, sr., guard
A bulldog of an athlete, Sarvis was one a few key pieces in Burlington Central’s team that won the Fox Valley Conference title last season. Sarvis averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds and almost 3 assists and 3 steals a game.
Trent Tousana, Batavia, sr., guard
Tousana has a bit of ‘box office’ to his game as a highly athletic guard who can penetrate the lane, shoot on the outside and get teammates involved.
