The Hinckley-Big Rock girls golf team opened its season with a 210-212 win over Earlville on Thursday in Earlville.

Mya Bonori and Sammy Kerlin each posted a 50 for the Royals, six strokes behind meet medalist Lexie Campbell’s 44.

Lilliana Martinez added a 52 for the Royals.

BOYS GOLF

H-BR beats Earlville: Ben Hintzsche was a medalist with a 35, as the Royals won a road conference match in Earlville.

Max Hintzsche carded a 43, as did Saje Beane.
