SYCAMORE – Downtown Sycamore’s newest restaurant will open next week.
Cesaroni’s Cafe & Deli, 219 W. State St. in Sycamore, will open Monday.
The restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and will offer a limited menu for the first two weeks. After two weeks, the restaurant will serve breakfast and lunch. Breakfast options will include breakfast sandwiches, coffee and espresso. Breakfast sandwiches will be available daily until 11 a.m. Lunch options will include deli sandwiches and paninis, soups and salads.
Cesaroni’s also will offer coffee and looseleaf tea from Two Brothers Coffee Roasters, including a unique coffee blend that is only brewed and sold by the restaurant.
In summer 2020, the restaurant’s co-owners, brothers Brad and Brandon Cesaroni, purchased the building, which was previously Ristorante di Acquaviva. Since then, they have been renovating the interior of the restaurant.
“The entire interior is brand-new because we gutted everything,” Brad Cesaroni said. “We kept the aesthetic the same as our other location in Woodstock, complete with a tile mosaic floor.”
The restaurant has two long benches and chairs for dining, as well as a bar counter at the front window for customers to look out at Route 64 while dining.
“We wanted to create an inviting atmosphere,” Brad Cesaroni said. “We’ll have board games and cards so families and friends can gather and socialize. It will also be a great atmosphere to grab a coffee and read the paper or get out your laptop and do some work. We have lots of outlets and WiFi.”
Brad Cesaroni said that he is excited for the restaurant to open its doors next week.
“We’re looking forward to opening and being a part of the community,” he said.
Cesaroni’s Cafe & Deli is still seeking to hire staff, with available positions including baristas, cashiers and sandwich makers. Contact the restaurant at sycamore@cesaronis.com, on Facebook messenger or by visiting when the restaurant is open.
