Make a light-up Valentine’s card for loved ones at DeKalb event

DeKALB – The DeKalb Public Library will host an event for patrons to learn how to create a light-up Valentine’s Day card.

The free children’s event will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 8 in the library’s Story and Activity Room, 309 Oak St.

Participants can learn about complex and simple circuits. Batteries, copper tape, LEDs and templates will be provided. The event is limited to the first 30 children. Registration is required to attend. To register, visit the library’s children’s desk one hour before the event.
