DeKALB - No arrests or reported injuries came from an incident involving gunfire in DeKalb over the weekend, said DeKalb Police Chief David Byrd.
According to a citywide emergency text alert sent around 5:40 a.m. Sunday, July 25, DeKalb police responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of Edgebrook Drive. Police at that time asked residents to avoid the area.
Byrd confirmed Sunday no arrests have been made, no injuries were reported to police and investigators believe there remains no danger to the public at this time.
