Two Marseilles men were arrested on drug delivery charges Wednesday.
Eddie L. Booker, also known as “Capone,” 47, of Marseilles, was picked up by Marseilles police on a La Salle County felony arrest warrant charging him with one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine) at 9 a.m. Wednesday, the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team said in a Friday news release.
The charge is a Class 2 felony carrying a sentence of three to seven years in prison if convicted. Bond is set at $1 million. Booker allegedly delivered less than a gram of a substance containing cocaine to Tri-DENT, police said.
Dwane J. Thomas, also known as “Gucci,” 28, of Marseilles, also was picked up by Marseilles police on a La Salle County felony arrest warrant charging him with one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine) at 8 p.m. Wednesday, the Tri-DENT said in a Friday news release.
Bond is set at $500,000 for the Class 2 felony charge. Thomas allegedly delivered less than a gram of a substance containing cocaine to Tri-DENT, police said.
