ROCK FALLS – Joseph Patrick Kulas, 59, of Rock Falls died Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
He was born on June 6, 1960, in Sterling, the son of Stanley and Anita (Parker) Kulas and was baptized at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls. Joseph worked for over 26 years at Self Help in Sterling.
He liked watching TV shows like the Dukes of Hazard and Night Rider; going to the Rockford Speedway to watch the races; riding horses; listening to some of the more classic country music artists such as Johnny Cash, and Patsy Kline.
Survivors include his brothers, Charles (Nancy) Kulas and David Kulas; his niece, Michelle Beck.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday, January 10, 2020, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the White Oaks Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Morrison.
