LINCOLN, Neb. — Kayla K. Palia, the daughter of David and Susanne Palia of Streamwood and the granddaughter of Charles and Enise Palia, formerly of Spring Valley, graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln at the Pinnacle Bank Arena on Dec. 15 with a Bachelor of Arts in Tourisim, Hotel Management and Hospitality, with a double minor in business administration and communication, and leadership. In attendace for her graduation were her parents, son Brody and Ryan Fisbach.
She finished her college career with a 3.45 grade point average and was on the dean’s list in 2015-16. She is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She is presently employed a the Stonewood Ale House in Schaumburg and will be seeking employment in her field of study in January.
