An American flag disposal box was placed in the north parking lot at the Streator Fire Department, 108 N. Wasson St. Flags placed here will be "destroyed in a dignified way," according to the United States Flag Code. The box was previously located at the Streator VFW, but the Post sold the building last month in a public auction. (Derek Barichello)
