4 arrested, 1 jailed and 1 cut in Channahon Casey's clash: cops

A simmering feud spilled off social media and over to the Casey's General Store in Channahon, where one man's finger was cut, four were arrested and one teen was taken to jail, police said.

Channahon police officers were dispatched to the Casey's at 25258 W. Eames St. about 9:45 p.m. Monday to investigate a disturbance, Deputy Police Chief Craig Gunty said.

The officers learned a fight broke out between two groups that have been involved in an ongoing dispute, Gunty said.

The fight started when, Nicolas Pouncy, 18, of Richton Park, pulled up to the rival group at the Casey's gas pumps, he said.

Pouncy was riding in a car driven by Kylee Meadows, 18, of Minooka, Gunty said, and he pulled a knife and cut an 18-year-old's finger.

Gunty said the injury was a minor laceration.

An ambulance was called but the teen turned down a trip to the hospital, according to police. Another injured 18-year-old also reportedly declined to go to the hospital.

Pouncy was taken to the Will County jail. He was charged with aggravated battery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and his bond was set at $75,000, county records show.

Pouncy was still in custody Wednesday afternoon.

Meadows was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct and released on her own recognizance, Gunty said, and two male juveniles were charged with battery and also released from custody.
