Princeton Walmart manager to take over Missouri store

PRINCETON — David Jensen, who has been store manager of the Princeton Walmart Supercenter for the past 15 years, has accepted a similar position at a Walmart Supercenter in central Missouri in the city of Moberly.

“It is close to where I grew up,” he explained on his last day in Princeton, which was May 5. “With my parents getting older, it will be nice to get back near my family.”

Jensen said he will miss all the friends, acquaintances and customers he has met in the past 15 years living in Princeton.

“This town is a fantastic town to raise kids here,” he said. “It is a very good town.”

Jensen has worked 34 years for Walmart, starting out as a salesclerk and working his way up from there.

“I will definitely miss the customers and all the relationships we have developed over 15 years,” he said.
