Gayle S. Schmidt

MORRISON – Gayle S. Schmidt, 62, of Morrison, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison. She worked in dietary for a few years at Morrison Community Hospital.

Gayle was born June 26, 1954, in Morrison, the daughter of Faye C. and Norma L. (Robison) Groharing.

Survivors include her son, Corey (Michelle) Schmidt of Stitzer, Wisconsin; three grandchildren; a sister, Glenda (Donald) Ottens of Fairhaven; and a brother, Gary Groharing of Naperville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, with the Rev. Edie Lenz officiating.
