Makransky named Central Bank lender

PRINCETON — John J. DuBois, president/CEO of Central Bank Illinois, recently announced the appointment of Tracy Makransky as assistant vice president, real estate loan officer for the company’s Princeton branch.

Makransky will be responsible for developing and managing the bank’s real estate loan portfolio, including secondary market lending through the market area.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lewis University, as well as a master’s of organization leadership. She was most recently an assistant vice president and mortgage banker for Heartland Bank in Princeton. During her tenure with Heartland, she was a retail branch manager and worked in the area of business development and public relations. She is currently a high school education instructor through Illinois Valley Community College, where she assists adult learners with critical thinking, computer, communication and basic life skills.

Actively involved within the community on civic boards and organizations, she is currently a member of the Princeton Economic Development Committee, serves as co-chair of the annual Homestead Festival and the St. Louis School Auction. She is a past recipient of the Princeton Rotary Vocational Service Leadership Award and the Princeton Chamber Business Associate of the Month. Makransky has previously served or volunteered for the Bureau County Day Care Board, Princeton Chamber of Commerce Board, Princeton Ambassadors, Princeton Tourism, Princeton Main Street, Freedom House Foundation and the Princeton Theatre Group/Festival 56.
