Assault
Abubkar Mohamed Sharif-Mudhir, 19, of the 1100 block of Londonberry Lane, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 5:30 a.m. Dec. 1 with assault and illegal transportation of alcohol by a minor in the 1100 block of Londonberry Lane.
Burglary
• A wallet reportedly was stolen between 1 and 6:45 a.m. Dec. 2 from a purse on a table in an apartment in the 500 block of Pershing Avenue. Identification, credit cards and various gift cards also were reported missing. Keys were left in the lock of the apartment.
• A television set reportedly was stolen between 6:30 a.m. Nov. 24 and 8 p.m. Dec. 1 from a house in the 1100 block of Londonberry Lane.
• A FedEx package reportedly was stolen at 2:14 p.m. Dec. 2 in front of an apartment building entry door in the 500 block of Pershing Avenue. The package contained catheters and catheter kits.
• A briefcase, GPS, change, prescription sunglasses and a Bluetooth cellphone holder reportedly were stolen at 10 p.m. Dec. 3 from two unlocked vehicles, a Dodge Ram 2500 and Chevrolet Tahoe, parked in the 300 block of Van Damin Avenue. The briefcase was later recovered a short distance from Ben Franklin Elementary School.
• A black tote bag that contained a wallet and Apple iPhone reportedly was stolen between 6 and 6:10 p.m. Dec. 4 from a vehicle parked at Childtime, 364 Geneva Road, after the driver’s side window of the vehicle was broken. The wallet contained identification cards and credit cards.
Theft
• A bottle of Hennessy Cognac reportedly was stolen at 9:05 p.m. Nov. 30 at Walgreens, 840 N. Main St. The suspect reportedly placed the bottle in his backpack, left the store and headed northbound on foot.
• Cash totaling $800 reportedly was stolen between 3 p.m. Dec. 2 and 4:20 p.m. Dec. 4 from a wallet that was left at a cash register at Trader Joe’s, 680 Roosevelt Road.
Order of protection violation
Francis A. Mancuso, 45, of the 600 block of Sheehan Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 10:04 a.m. Dec. 1 with violating an order of protection in the 600 block of Sheehan Avenue.
Fraud
• Peter O. Abbasi, 29, of the 400 block of Shadow Creek Drive, Palos Heights, was charged at 4:13 p.m. Dec. 1 with credit card fraud at 757 DuPage Blvd.
• Tory X. Johnson, 28, of the 1000 block of West Chicago Avenue, Oak Park, was charged at 4:13 p.m. Dec. 1 with credit card fraud and obstructing justice at 757 DuPage Blvd.
DUI
Lori L. Duggan, 48, of the 100 block of Tanglewood Drive, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 6:14 p.m. Dec. 5 with driving under the influence of alcohol and endangering the life or health of a child in the 100 block of Tanglewood Drive.
Property damage
Someone reportedly cut a set of holiday lights on the bushes of a house between 6 p.m. Dec. 1 and 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 200 block of Grandview Avenue.
