ROCK FALLS – Rosalie Spears, 82, of Rock Falls, formerly of Tampico, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014. She retired from BorgWarner in Rock Falls.
Rosalie was born April 3, 1932, in Mount Moriah, Missouri, the daughter of Kelly Webb and Bertha May (Turner) Hickman. She married William R. Spears on Oct. 13, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2010.
Survivors include one son, Bill Spears of Pecatonica, and one daughter, Alice (Gene) Dalton of Sterling.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Judith Spears; and one son, Orville Spears.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and the funeral at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Garland Funeral Home in Tampico, with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks, pastor of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, officiating. Burial will be at Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
