LISLE – GreatBanc Trust Company has completed its acquisition of North Star Trust Company to create one of the largest single providers of trustee and other fiduciary services for institutional clients with employee stock ownership plans, according to a company news release.
Headquartered in Lisle, GreatBanc Trust is one of the nation's leading and longest-tenured independent providers of employee stock ownership plan trustee services.
Before acquiring North Star Trust, it took on similar business from HSBC Bank USA and the former LaSalle Bank NA.
