Michael Andrews scored a hat trick in an 8-0 win over Hinsdale South on Thursday. Two days later Matt Murphy scored two goals to help the Lions beat Boylan Catholic 3-1.

The Bulldogs had an offensive explosion last week with a 5-4 win over Elmwood Park and a 3-0 shutout of Timothy Christian. Against Elmwood Park, Santiago Beltran scored twice and Quentin Dreilich, Stephen Lechuga and Juan Hernandez scored once each.
Nazareth
Chris Tovar and Sam McLachlan each had hat tricks in a 6-3 win at Joliet Catholic on Thursday. The Roadrunners led 5-0 at halftime. On Saturday Naz lost to Marian Catholic 1-0 to fall to 3-4 in the East Suburban Catholic Conference.
Fenwick
The Friars lost to crosstown rival Oak Park River Forest 4-0 on Thursday.
Proviso West
Daniel Delgado scored on a goal assisted by Eduardo Rivas in the Panthers’ 1-1 draw with Montini on Saturday.

Illiana Christian beat the Bulldogs 25-21, 25-12 on Oct. 1. Amanda Lelivelt and Monica Kasper each had three kills for RB.
Nazareth
The Roadrunners beat state power Joliet Catholic twice in three days. First, they topped the Angels 25-18, 24-26, 25-20 Oct. 3 in an East Suburban Catholic Conference match. Two days late,r they beat them 25-21, 18-25, 25-23 to win the bronze bracket of Mother McAuley’s ASICS Challenge tournament.

Lyons Township
Henry Hostettler was 11th and the Lions won the Locktoberfest Invitational on Saturday. Ed McCarter, Dan Lupano, Kevin Kilrea, James Ryan and Keefe Mulligan all finished in under 17 minutes.
Riverside Brookfield/Nazareth
Kevin Faje crossed the finish line in third place for RB at the Lisle Mane Event on Saturday with a time of 17:16. The Bulldogs were fifth out of 18 teams.
Nazareth was 12th at the meet.
Fenwick
Salvatore Flight’s 11th place run at the Peoria Central Invitational at Detweiller Park on Saturday helped Fenwick finish 15th out of 53 teams.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Lyons Township
Lexy Rudolfski was ninth in the top flight at the Wheaton North Falcon Classic on Saturday. LT finished seventh out of 33 teams.
Riverside Brookfield
Mailin Struck won the Lisle Mane Event on Saturday with a time of 18:26, beating the nearest runner by 94 seconds. Sarah Melone was seventh and the Bulldogs were third out of 15 teams.
Nazareth
Gianna Levato led the Roadrunners with a third place finish at the Lisle Mane Event on Saturday. Naz was fourth in the team standings.
Fenwick
Olivia Ryan won the Peoria Central Invitational at Detweiller Park in a field of 330 varsity runners on Saturday. Ryan’s time of 17:16.32 helped the Friars take seventh out of 49 teams. Briana Daley was 12th.
GIRLS TENNIS
Lyons Township
Alex Chatt won the No. 1 singles bracket and the Lions won the Naperville North Invitational with 37 points to finish ahead of Naperville Central, Neuqua Valley and the hosts, among others. Andjelija Bozovic won at No. 2 singles and Stefana Vasic won at No. 3 singles.
Riverside Brookfield
The Bulldogs beat Richards 5-0 in a dual Oct. 2 and then swept a quad at Leyden beating the host Eagles 5-2, Argo 7-0 and Willowbrook 5-2 on Saturday. Riki Matous and Nina Dorenbos went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles in the quad.
Morton
The Mustangs beat Argo 6-1 on Oct. 2.
Nazareth
The Roadrunners scored 11 points to finish one point behind host Glenbard East in a quad meet. Naz finished ahead of Huntley and West Chicago.
GIRLS SWIMMING
Lyons Township
The Lions virtually locked up the regular season title in the West Suburban Silver by defeating Downers Grove North 110-76 on Thursday. Individual event winners for LT were Mackenna Dunn (200-yard freestyle), Maggie Ferguson (200 individual medley), Kimmy Vitek (diving) and Liz Murphy (100 backstroke and 100 breaststroke).

The Bulldogs beat Morris 129-53 on Thursday.

Lyons Township/Proviso West
The Lions couldn’t quite catch Hinsdale Central, but finished second in the West Suburban Silver meet Oct. 1. Lyons shot a 301 to finish 10 shots behind the Red Devils.
Proviso West was seventh.
Riverside Brookfield
Austin Adamec led the way for the Bulldogs by finishing eighth in the Metro Suburban Conference meet on Oct. 2. The Bulldogs shot a 386 and were sixth overall.
Morton
The Mustangs shot a 420 to place sixth at the West Suburban Gold meet on Oct. 1.
Nazareth
Sophomore Matt Clark and junior Michael Johannes tied for 12th and the Roadrunners placed fifth with a 331 at the East Suburban Catholic Conference meet at Old Orchard Country Club in Mount Prospect on Oct. 1.
Fenwick
Brian Boyle tied for third with a 72 at Thursday’s Chicago Catholic League Championship at Cog Hill 1 and 3. Fenwick was third in the team standings.

The Lions entered Tuesday’s regional meet after a strong showing at the West Suburban Conference meet on Oct. 2. LT was second with a 322 to finish behind only Hinsdale Central (310).
Riverside Brookfield
Eleanor Ahlberg and Julia Roedel cracked the top 10 at the Metro Suburban Conference invite Thursday. The Bulldogs were second in the MSC and fourth in the tournament, which included other schools to fill out the meet.
Fenwick/Nazareth
The Friars were seventh with a 391, just edging ahead of the Roadrunners’ 393 at the East Suburban Catholic Conference meet Sept. 30.
