Abrahams-Raineri

Mr. and Mrs. Scott (Kelly) Raineri

Kelly Abrahams of Spring Valley and Scott Raineri of Ladd were united in marriage Sept. 29 in St. Anthony Church in Spring Valley.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Gaye Abrahams of Spring Valley. The groom is the son of Bud and Becky Raineri of Ladd.

Kristin Gorden, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna Dempsey, friend of the bride, Jenni Keegan, cousin of the bride, Erin Rosenthal, friend of the bride, Katelyn Raineri, sister of the groom, Annie Martin, friend of the bride, Claire Repass, friend of the bride, and Vanessa Funfsinn, friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Kennedy and Kaeden Keegan, cousins of the bride. Lena and Erin Sartin, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.

Brandon Robinson, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Justin Noonan, Jason Kubichan, David Ponsetti, Jared Donna, Stephen Richardson, Matt Sodac and Nick Walker, all friends of the groom. Ushers were Patrick and Nathan Anderson, cousins of the bride, and Chris Lansing, cousin of the groom.

The couple was honored at a reception at the Mendota Civic Center in Mendota.

After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple is making their home in Downers Grove.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Hall High School in Spring Valley. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign and her master’s degree in exercise physiology from Eastern Illinois University. She attended Goldfarb School of Nursing in St. Louis and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2011. She is employed as a registered nurse/exercise physiologist at Palos Community Hospital in Orland Park.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Hall High School in Spring Valley and a 2010 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is a calibration engineer for Navistar Inc. in Melrose Park.
