LAKEMOOR – Albert F. and Anita W. Kunz of the Lakemoor/Volo area celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary May 27 with a family dinner.

Anita Wiser and Albert Kunz were married May 27, 1972.

Albert has been employed at General Kinematics Corp. in Crystal Lake for 32-1/2 years as a fitter-welder-engineer. He also is a part-time gunsmith at D and J Guns in Lakemoor.

Anita retired after 15-1/2 years as a cashier at Dominick’s Finer Foods in McHenry. She is a member of the Volo Homemakers Unit of Home and Community Education, where she is the president. She also is a member of the Lake County Board of Home and Community Education, where she is the cultural enrichment chairwoman. She is a member of the Wauconda Seniors Club and The Scarlett O’Hatters Red Hat Group of McHenry. She has been a Lake County election judge for 27 years.

They have two sons, Michael (Kelly) Kunz and the late Albert Lloyd Kunz; and a daughter, Heidi Kunz.

They have a grandson, Matthew Michael Kunz; and a granddaughter, the late Skylar Lynn Kunz.
