A RETAIL THEFT charge was meted out to an employee at the local Menard’s hardware store by Morris police on Friday, Sept. 24.
Jerome Pollnitz, 39, of Joliet, a yard manager for the business, was charged after an internal investigation by Menard’s found Pollnitz had taken several power tools from the store after closing hours.
Pollnitz was transported to the Grundy County Jail to await a bond hearing.
