St. Charles police reports

•  Amy M. Vail, 27, of the 300 block of East Park Boulevard, Villa Park, was charged Sunday, Sept. 27, with a hit-and-run accident, not giving notice of an accident, failure to yield from entering a private driveway and not having registered plates properly fastened.

• Bradley W. Kleckner, 44, of the 900 block of Viewpointe Drive, St. Charles, was charged Sunday, Oct. 4, with aggravated battery.

• Michael J. Howard, 22, of the 500 block of Chase Avenue, Lombard, was charged Thursday, Oct. 8, with driving under the influence, improper lane use, driving without insurance and driving too fast for conditions.

• Sammy Joe Lemont, 33, of the 1900 block of Calhoun Avenue, Chicago, was charged Friday, Oct. 9, with retail theft of $38 worth of clothing from Sears, 3700 E. Main St.

• Galyna Yakubiv, 51, of the 100 block of Bar Harbour Square, Schaumburg, was charged Friday, Oct. 9, with retail theft of $147 worth of clothes and cosmetics from Von Maur, 3801 E. Main St.

• Mark R. Fordonski, 29, of the 300 block of South 11th Avenue, St. Charles, was charged Monday, Oct. 12, with criminal damage to property. Police said Fordonski damaged Halloween decorations in a front yard on the 400 block of South Avenue.

•  Sean P. Scheffler, 27, of the 33W200 block of Bonnie Street, St. Charles Township, was charged Sunday, Oct. 11, with criminal damage to property.

• A Blackberry valued at $300 was stolen from a car Saturday, Oct. 10, while the owner attended Scarecrow Fest. The Blackberry was in the pocket of a $20 Bears windbreaker left on the seat. The owner did not know whether the car was locked because he opened it with a remote.

• Jenelle H. Dail, 22, of the 200 block of Walnut Drive, St. Charles, was charged Monday, Oct. 12, with retail theft of four DVDs valued at $45 from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road.

• Susan M. McIver, 48, of the 700 block of South Avenue, St. Charles, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 13, on a St. Charles warrant in connection with a local ordinance violation.

• Aurelia C. Montoya, 21, of the 1600 block of Felten Street, Aurora, was charged Tuesday, Oct. 13, with retail theft of $112.54 worth of items from Walmart, 150 Smith Road. Items taken included baby formula, underwear, hair conditioner and a devil costume.

• Saul D. Diaz-Correa, 19, of the 200 block of North 15th Street, St. Charles, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 13, on a DuPage County warrant for traffic offenses.

• Martin Calderon, 24, of the 200 block of Walnut Drive, St. Charles, was arrested Friday, Oct. 9, on a DuPage County warrant.

• Filomena A. Carfora, 43, of the 100 block of Lakeside Drive, St. Charles, was charged, Tuesday, Oct. 13, with retail theft of clothing valued at $411 from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St.
