1. Winter Break Skate Night: 6-9 p.m., Thursday, Family Fun Zone, 2333 Theodore St., Crest Hill. Just $10 gets the whole family into the event, no matter how big or small the family is. 2. Decades of Rock at Bedrocks: 9:30 p.m. Friday, Bedrocks Bar, 700 W. Jefferson St., Shorewood. Decades of Rock is a cover band specializing in the music hits of the 1950s through the 1980s. For more information visit Decades of Rock in Joliet on Facebook and bedrocksbar.com.

3. The Boy Band Night: 9 p.m., Saturday, Corrigan’s Pub, 700 W. Jefferson St. Shorewood. Boy Band tribute band from Chicago. 4. Winter Walkers: 9:30-11 a.m., The Forest Preserve District of Will County Joliet Iron Works Historic Site, Columbia Street, east of Route 53/Scott Street, Joliet. A naturalist will guide the 2 miles to 2.5 mile-hike, which alternate between paved and crushed limestone surfaces. Dress for the weather. Registration is required by Thursday, Jan. 16.
