Santa makes trip around New Lenox neighborhoods in truck

‘Twas five nights before Christmas and Santa comes early. On the evening of Dec. 19, Santa and his elves took their caravan of sleighs in New Lenox.

Santa sat in the back of a pickup truck as they made their journey.

They went down West Haven Avenue to the neighborhoods of Hibernia Estates and Palmer Ranch to spread Christmas cheer. Lights donned the sleighs, Christmas music was playing, the elves were dancing, and horns were honking.

“In the midst of the pandemic, we want to bring joy to relatives and neighboring kids. "

“Our plan is to start an annual tradition & next year we hope to send out flyers, enlist more reindeer and pass out goodies to kids.”

It is nice to see the spirit of Christmas is alive in New Lenox
