Joliet Junior College hosting open house on Saturday

The July 4 fireworks show in Joliet will be at the Joliet Junior College main campus along Houbolt Road, seen here on June 29, 2021.

Joliet Junior College will host a “Discover JJC” event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, according to a news release from JJC.

The open house will take place at JJC’s main campus, located at 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.

Prospective students can come out with their families and learn about classes, the admissions process, financial aid and scholarships, the release said. Students can also talk with professors in the areas that interest them and meet current students, who can share their experiences at JJC.
