54 students from D. 204 in Joliet named Illinois State Scholars

Students recognized for their ‘exceptional academic achievement’

Fifty-four Joliet Township High School students from the graduating class of 2022 were recently named Illinois State Scholars, according to a news release from Joliet Township High School District 204.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) “bestows this prestigious recognition to top Illinois high school students annually” due to their “exceptional academic achievement,” the release said.

The ISAC chooses Illinois State Scholars based on “exemplary ACT or SAT test scores and sixth semester class rank.” In addition, “approximately top 10% of graduates from approved high schools are announced as State Scholars each year,” the release also said.

The following students were named Illiinois State Scholars.
