Arrest log said man was arrested at Joliet Starbucks

A drug investigation led to the arrest of a Joliet man on charges or possession and delivery of cocaine.

About 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers arrested Christoper Nagra, 30, of the 3700 block of Elgin Avenue, in the 2500 block of West Jefferson Street “following a drug investigation,” Joliet police said in a news release.

“Officers recovered cocaine upon search of Nagra at the time of the arrest,” police said.

Police records show Nagra was arrested at 2518 W. Jefferson St., which is the address of a Joliet Starbucks.

The criminal complaint filed against Nagra alleged he possessed cocaine on June 2, June 10 and Tuesday. He was charged with possessing up to 15 grams of cocaine on those days.

He was also charged with delivery of cocaine.

Nagra was taken to the Will County jail. His bond was set at $30,000.

A judge ordered Nagra to not consume alcohol or drugs, including marijuana, as a condition of his bond.

Nagra remained in jail as of Friday afternoon.
