ExxonMobil Joliet Refinery names new plant manager

Tanya Bryja was recently named plant manager at ExxonMobil’s Joliet Refinery plant.

Bryja replaces Monica Mainland, the plant manager for five years. Bryja most recently served as the strategy and planning manager for ExxonMobil Research & Engineering.

Mainland has taken a position with ExxonMobil Chemical as the Asia Pacific regional director, which is based in Singapore.

Bryja previously served in a variety of technical, operations and management positions in EMRE, Fuels & Lubricants, and Corporate Strategic Planning.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Northwestern University.
