46 students at Providence Catholic H.S. in New Lenox earn AP Scholar Awards

7 of the students were also named AP Scholar with Distinction and 10 earned the designation of AP Scholar with Honor

Forty-six students at Providence High School in New Lenox earned AP Scholar Awards by the College Board “in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program exams,” according to a news release from Providence. (Paul J)

Forty-six students at Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox earned AP Scholar Awards by the College Board “in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program exams,” according to a news release from Providence.

The College Board was created in 1900 to expand access to higher education and to ease the transition from high school to college through various programs and services, according to its website at ap.collegeboard.org.

College Board programs include the SAT, Advanced Placement and BigFuture, the website said.

Here are the 2021 AP Scholars for Providence High School. All are 2021 graduates unless a grade is noted. Seven of the students were also named AP Scholar with Distinction and 10 earned the designation of AP Scholar with Honor. Those, too, are noted.
