The Best Buddies program pairs students without a disability with a student who has a disability to help create a lifelong friendship, according to a news release from 100+ Women Who Care of Will County.

As part of this program, the students are encouraged to email each other, call each other on the phone and spend time together outside of school.

Best Buddies is the largest after school club at Lockport Township High School, the release said.
