One-year-old Simon is a 1-year old male that was rescued from the euthanasia list in southern Illinois. He is shy, but sweet, and needs a patient owner to help build his confidence. When he feels safe, he enjoys pets and attention. Simon likes other cats. To meet him, email Delonda at delonda@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.

Emmy Lou is an 8-year-old female coonhound. She is a sweet, but shy. She needs a home without children and a patient owner that will allow her time to trust and adjust. Once she warms up, she is friendly and gentle. She walks well on a leash. To meet her, email Stacy at stacy@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.

Two-year-old Zac is confident, energetic and always on the move. He loves to play with stringy toys, climb and use up all his energy. Once he’s tired, he’s ready to snuggle and soak up attention. He shows affection by sniffing and licking people’s faces and purring loudly. Zac’s great disposition means he’ll likely do well in a home with kids and other cats. To meet him, contact Humane Haven Animal Shelter at 630-378-4208 or visit hhas.org.

Arthur is a 7-year-old male Shar Pei who came to the shelter with some health issues, which have all been addressed. He enjoys talking, walks and back scratches. To meet him, contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.

Kiki is a domestic shorthair who has been at the shelter for a while. She likes attention but lets you know when she’s had enough. Kiki would do best in a home with no small children and no other cats. To meet her, contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.
