Brendon is a sweet 11-year-old that was left outside the shelter’s front doors one morning, so it took time to earn his trust. He purrs the moment he is petted and leans in for more pets. Brendon loves his wet food and has no issue asking for a second serving. To meet Brendon, call Joliet Township Animal Control at 815-715-0333

Two-year-old Morgan was recently surrendered due to her owner’s health. She will likely need some time to completely settle into a new home setting and open up. Ashes is a 4-year-old front-paw declaw kitty. He’s a bit shy, but once he gets comfortable, he loves chin scratches and lap time. Besides hanging out and “talking” with his human friends, Ashes likes investigating boxes, chirping at squirrels, and playing with string toys and furry mice. He does well with other cats, but he’s afraid of children and dogs. To meet Ashes, visit Humane Haven Animal Shelter at hhas.org or call 630-378-4208.
