PSHS earns 3rd place at SW Prairie Art Conference

25 students at D. 202 in Plainfield earn top honors

Students at Plainfield School District 202 were part of the 130 students who participated in the Southwest Prairie Art Conference on March 5 at Romeoville High School, according to a news release from District 202.

Plainfield South High School placed third overall. One student from each school was honored as the school’s “Up and Coming Artist.” And 25 high school students in District 202 received high honors, according to the release.

The other 12 Southwest Prairie Conference high schools include Joliet West and Central, Minooka, Oswego, Oswego East , Romeoville, Yorkville and West Aurora, according to the release.
