1) After The Peanut will present The Jazz & STEAM Fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Joliet Historical Area Museum, 204 N Ottawa St. in Joliet. Features include live jazz by international soul and jazz artist Marcus Adams; unique art by Donna Franks-Tapley painter and art educator; an immersive, 3D, interactive STEAM activity with VR headsets from SlingshotVR; food and auction. Awards will be presented to Tammy Lackland, manager, community engagement at Molina Healthcare of Illinois; Jennifer Tello Buntin, director of Lewis University Center for Community Research and Education; and Debra Upshaw, president of National Hookup of Black Women, Joliet Chapter. 2) Lewis University students will perform “Veronica’s Room,” written by Ira Levin (author of “Rosemary’s Baby”) Thursday through Sunday at Lewis University’s Philip Lynch Theatre in Romeoville. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Saturday matinee is at 3:30 p.m. The Sunday matinee is at 2:30 p.m. This mystery thriller explores the line between fantasy and reality, madness and murder. Ages 13 and up. 4) The Forest Preserve District of Will County will present “Happy Mornings Yoga and Hike” from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Four Rivers Environmental Education Center in Channahon. Enjoy an all-levels, indoor yoga session followed by a hike along scenic trails. Bring a yoga mat, water and dress in warm layers for the outdoor hike. Free, ages 14 or older. 5) Virtual Art Exhibit: Joyce Polance: Landscapes will be available on the Joliet Junior College website through Feb. 25, courtesy of the JJC Fine Arts Department and Laura A. Sprague Gallery. Polance is a New York-based painter working in oils. Her exhibit explores what happens when things aren’t so definite, by blurring the definitions of figures and landscapes.
