Five Things to do in Will County: Lots of ways to ring in 2022

And still plenty of opportunity to check out holiday lights in Joliet.

1) The Plainfield Public Library will host a “Virtual Dance Into the Noon Year” all day on Friday for families with children. The event will include stories, music, party kit to ring in the “noon year” at home and a countdown to noon. Party kids can be picked up at the youth services desk. Register each child attending by Thursday. Register at plainfieldpubliclibrary.org.

2) The Lockport and Romeoville branches of the White Oak Library District (Crest Hill has a waiting list) is offering a “New Year’s Eve Take & Make” kit for children. Each kit includes a craft to commemorate the New Year, a party glass and a treat to toast to 2022. Registration is required for each child. Kit pickup is through Friday as long as supplies last. Register on the library’s event calendar (Dec. 31) at whiteoaklibrary.evanced.info/signup/calendar.
