Crest Foods to conduct job fair on Oct. 22

Mangers will be hiring on the spot for open positions

ASHTON – Crest Foods Co. Inc., a dry foods manufacturer, is hosting a job fair rom 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at the Mills & Petrie Memorial Building.

The company is hiring for a variety of positions including production, sanitation and maintenance. Crest Foods management will be hiring on the spot for all open positions across all three shifts.

“Crest Foods is a large local employer offering exceptional benefits,” Crest Foods Co. Inc. President Jeff Meiners said in a news release. “We provide free transportation, 11 paid holidays, on-site nurses and lab services and even free vacations for 10-year employees. River Country 101.7 will be broadcasting from the fair, and a Northside BarbaQ food truck also will be present to fill lunch orders.

“We knew we wanted to host an event that would shine a spotlight on the Crest culture that we’ve cultivated for the past 75 years. ‘Have some fun’ is written right into our culture statement, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do,” Crest Foods Co. Inc. Human Resources Manager Erika Meiners said in the release.

No appointment is necessary.
