Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation offers children’s books through program

Danelle Burrs of the Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation is accepting applications from any organization in the county that can benefit from a bushel basket of agricultural-themed children’s books.

AMBOY – Books by the Bushel, which promotes agricultural awareness through children’s literature, will again be provided by the Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation.

Among the titles provided this year: “The Hundred Year Barn,” “Farmer George Plants a Nation,” and “On the Farm, at the Market.”

Applications are available from the foundation at www.lcfbfoundation.org.
