Karlson crowned 2025 Miss Amboy

Amboy’s Kiera Karlson beamed with pride Thursday night as she was crowned the 2025 Miss Amboy pageant winner.

Karlson spoke of her admiration of her grandparents during her introduction. The high school senior was joined on stage by five other contestants. Senior Alyvia Whelchel took first runner-up, and Kaitlyn Dempsey was awarded Miss Congeniality. Junior Callan Christofferson along with freshmen Leah Dempsey and Sydney Noble also competed for the honor.
