Athletico Physical Therapy of Oregon recently welcomed Dr. Pam Plachno back to Oregon to provide patient care.
Plachno started her career in Oregon as a rehabilitation aide assisting Dr. Chad Brinkmann in the clinic while she was waiting to take her board exam in 2019. She then worked as a physical therapist for several years before transferring to the Rochelle Athletico as its clinic manager.
“It has been great watching Pam develop and grow her skills as a physical therapist, and I am excited to have her back in my clinic,” Oregon Clinic Manager Chad Brinkmann said.
With Plachno now also providing care in Oregon, the clinic is offering additional evening hours and expanding services for the Oregon community and surrounding areas. Plachno is certified in dry needling, which helps reduce muscle pain and tightness, release trigger points, improve blood flow, increase flexibility and range of motion and support recovery from injuries by helping muscles relax and function more normally.
Plachno also specializes in women’s health, which focuses on improving bladder and bowel control, reducing pelvic pain, supporting pregnancy and postpartum recovery, enhancing sexual function, and strengthening the pelvic floor to improve overall core stability and quality of life.
Athletico Physical Therapy is located at 116 N. Third St. in Oregon, directly across from city hall. Its expanded office hours are now 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays. The office number is 815-513-9400.
