Twenty-six women veterans attended the 11th annual Women Veterans Brunch in Lena on March 28.

The Lena American Legion hosted the event. Ladies came from Wisconsin, Polo, Loves Park and other local towns.

“It is an honor to give back to these ladies who gave for each of us,” a news release said.
